III. Instructional Strategy

Teacher’s Activity A. Preparation May I request everyone to stand for a short prayer? Lina please come in front and lead a prayer. Good afternoon class! You may now take your seat class! Ms. Monitor, may I know who are the absent for this afternoon? Okay very good. B. Review Yesterday we discussed about the Table appointment right? Now , what is table appointment? Very good! Ms. Beto So how about the ways of using a table runner? Very good class all of your answer are correct, I am glad that you have remembered our lesson. C. Motivation What have you observed in the pictures class? Your right, very good Ms. Prod! Activity 1. Draw me! Direction: Okay class, I will going to group you into three. Each group will going to draw the picture provided in your cartolina and if your done paste it in the board. The group who have a good drawing will receive a credit. Do you understand class? Okay let us start! D. Presentation Based in our activity, what do you think our lesson for today? Very good Faith! Our lesson for today is about the Table napkin. E. Discussion Now, in your own idea, what is table napkin folding? Very good! Anyone else? Very good? In addition, napkin folding is use for wiping the lips, finger, and to protect clothes while eating. Napkin folding has different style such as pyramid, candle, and birds of paradise folding. Katzine, please read the pyramid napkin folding. Thank you! This is the example of a pyramid napkin folding. Beto: Table appointment is a background of our meal to make it attractive and convenient. Mirrah: The ways of using table runners are the crisscross runners, side runners, and center runners.  Prodeline: Different styles of table napkin folding Ma’am!  Yes Ma’am!  Faith: It is about a table napkin folding Ma’am. Alipao: Table napkin folding is a type of decorative folding done with a napkin. Vevian: It can done as art or as a hobby. Katzine: Pyramid is a classy napkin folding technique that is simple, fast, and made easily with most napkins. Danilo: Candle napking folding is something easy, elegant, looks nice and fancy but does not take a boatload of time. Robert: Bird of paradise is napkin-folding technique requires a stiff napkin. Jabonero: The table napkin folding would be avoiding messy periods, which can truly turn out dirty. They make nice table decorations, hold napkins that they collected. Mondano: They break easily and somewhat expensive if you want a good quality one Ma’am. None so far Ma’am! Okay Ma’am!

Let’s fold a table napkin Directions:          You are going to perform individual on how to fold a birds of paradise napkin folding.          You are going to follow the steps provided in the board.          After 5 minutes, I will going to evaluate your output. Your performance is guided with the following criteria: CRITERIA ACCURATE POINTS TEACHER POINTS Proper folding 40 pts Presentation 30 pts Neatness and Cleanliness 20 pts Speed and Accuracy 10 pts TOTAL: 100 pts Do you understand now class? Okay you may start now. Each napkin that you fold is correct and very good. You all did a great job class. Thank you for participating all of you will be given an additional point.
